Troubled reality TV star Tila Tequila is on the mend after a medical scare reported as a suicide attempt, his manager said Tuesday.
"Tila continues to recover and is doing better. We ask that your privacy is respected in this difficult period, "manager Gina Rodriguez told the Daily News.
Paramedics responded to a 911 call at Studio City, California Tequila at 1:30 on Wednesday for a medical emergency "originally" and rushed to a patient by ambulance to a local hospital, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department told The News.
The star of MTV's bisexual dating show "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" had suffered a near-fatal aneurysm and an overdose of pills, said a source tells E! News.
She was found in and out of consciousness at home after allegedly threatening to kill himself and needed psychiatric help, TMZ.com reported.
Tequila, 30, was later released, but his manager reportedly called 911 again Monday night, prompting a wellness check by the police.
Refused to answer the door, claiming that she was in a wheelchair and police left at the end, TMZ said.
After acquiring fame on MySpace and MTV, Tequila grabbed news for his Self-described "commitment" to end Johnson heiress Casey Johnson & Johnson, the daughter of Jets owner Woody Johnson.
Approximately five months after Johnson's death diabetes related sudden in January 2010, Tequila has posted a video of her bloody arm on his blog. She claimed one of her multiple personalities open slit her wrist.
The disturbing post has been reported by the media as a cry for help is a misguided effort to burnish his celebrity status.
